Trouble wandering (to eternity) moves across land and under water. The group exhibition brings together works from the Jo & Marlies Eyck Collection in Bonnefanten with works by contemporary artists that raise questions about man's relationship to the world around us - especially nature at a time of climate crisis. How do you look at the genre 'landscape' when you know that it is rapidly changing under the influence of climate change? Can art provide a deeper understanding of our relationship to the world and give us tools on how to improve that relationship? Is art able to help us develop an ecological awareness, in a way that stimulates our imagination, and outlines alternative futures?
Participating artists: Maud van den Beuken, Jean-Marc Bustamante, Ronald Cornelissen, Elspeth Diederix, Mimi Lauter, Tala Madani, Otobong Nkanga, Rory Pilgrim, Joëlle Tuerlinckx and Carel Visser.
